Setup guide
Five minutes, no code. You need a Crisp workspace with the WhatsApp channel connected.
1. Install the plugin
Open the plugin on the Crisp Marketplace and click Install on the workspace whose WhatsApp number you want covered. Then open Plugins → WhatsApp Auto Re-engage → Settings.
2. Create a WhatsApp API token
In Crisp go to Plugins → WhatsApp → API Settings and generate a token. Copy both the identifier and the key (the key is shown only once). Paste them into the plugin settings and click Test connection: your approved templates should appear.
3. Set the callback URL
Still in the WhatsApp plugin's API Settings, paste the callback URL shown in the plugin settings. Crisp reports every template delivery result there, so failures are logged.
4. Choose the template and its parameters
Pick the approved template and the WhatsApp business number it is sent from. For each
{{n}}placeholder choose what fills it: the visitor's first name, their full nickname, their phone, or fixed text. Add a fallback for when the visitor has no name.5. Send a test, then enable
Use Send test with your own number to confirm the template goes out (this is a real, billed template). Then switch Auto-send on and save.
Behaviour options
